Sera Krishok is a Bangla-first agriculture platform that connects Bangladeshi farmers directly with buyers, with no middlemen. It spans a Next.js web app and admin, an Express + Supabase REST API with phone-OTP sign-in and SSLCommerz payments (card, bKash, Nagad, Rocket), and an offline-capable Expo Android app with separate experiences for farmers, customers, volunteers, agri-experts, and admins.

Overview
Smallholder farmers in Bangladesh usually sell through several layers of middlemen and have little access to prices, weather, or support when a harvest fails. Sera Krishok puts a marketplace, market information, and an aid channel in one Bangla-first app built for the phones and connections farmers actually have.
What I built
Three codebases. An Express + TypeScript API on Supabase Postgres (16 tables) and Storage, with its own phone-OTP authentication, zod validation, and an SSLCommerz integration with IPN callbacks. A Next.js web app with a full admin for users, orders, prices, delivery, awards, aid, reports, and content. And an Expo / React Native Android app with five role-specific shells, TanStack Query persisted to device storage for offline use, and secure token storage.
Farmers list produce that an admin approves; commission and payout figures are set by the admin and stripped server-side for everyone else. Volunteers verify aid requests in the field before they are approved.
Outcome
The platform is built end to end and is being prepared for launch, with an institutional sponsorship proposal in progress. AI assistant and crop-diagnosis screens are designed in the app, with their backend still to come.
