Hire an engineer whoships to production

I’m Md Fahad Mia — a forward deployed AI & software engineer in Dhaka. I take ideas from data model to live product: Next.js and Laravel, real AI features, and the backend that holds up under traffic. Here’s the proof, then let’s talk.

Why hire me

Not a freelancer who disappears

What you actually get when you bring me onto the work.

Forward deployed, end to end

I embed with your team and take the work from data model to production — not tickets off a queue. You get an engineer who owns the outcome, not just a slice of it.

AI that earns its place

Real AI features and automations that remove work — LLM integration with tight context and guardrails, plus applied ML when a prompt isn't enough. Already shipped in a live CRM platform.

Built to survive production

Multi-tenant safety, Row-Level Security, monitoring, and honest evaluation — the boring, vital work that keeps a system fast and secure under real traffic.

You own everything

Clean, documented code you fully own, and a proper handover. No black box only I can touch, no lock-in — the opposite of a mystery you inherit.

Ways to work together

Pick the engagement

Starting prices, benchmarked to international rates. The real quote comes after a short scoping call.

Project build

from $3,500

Fixed-scope web, backend, or AI build shipped in clear milestones with a plan and timeline up front.

Monthly retainer

from $1,500/mo

Ongoing backend, DevOps, or product work — an experienced pair of hands on tap, without a new contract each time.

Architecture & advisory

from $2,500

A system design or an honest review of what you have — the expensive-to-get-wrong decisions, thought through before you build.

How it works

A calm, transparent workflow — you always know where things stand.

1

Discovery & scoping

A short call to understand your goals, users, and constraints — turned into a clear plan, price, and timeline. No black boxes.

2

Architecture & design

I map the data, choose the right stack, and shape the interface, with previews early so we stay aligned before I build.

3

Build & iterate

I ship in milestones with working previews throughout — clean, tested code and regular updates, so you always know where things stand.

4

Launch & support

Deployment, monitoring, and handover. Fast, reliable, and yours — with support after launch when you need it.

Before you reach out

Pricing, how I work, and what hiring me looks like. Still unsure? Just ask below.

What does a forward deployed engineer do?

A forward deployed engineer embeds with your team to ship product end to end, rather than picking tickets off a queue. I sit close to the real problem, design the solution, and take it all the way from data model to production — closing the gap between the engineer and the person who actually gets it live.

How do you price projects?

Most work is project-based with a clear starting price on each service page (web from $3,500, backend from $3,000, AI & automation from $5,000). The final quote comes after a short scoping call, once the work is well understood. Ongoing backend or DevOps work can run as a monthly retainer instead.

Can I hire you as a Next.js, React, or Laravel developer?

Yes. I take on freelance and contract work as a Next.js/React and Laravel/PHP developer, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh and working with teams worldwide. Whether you need a full build or an experienced extra pair of hands on an existing codebase, start with a short call and I'll scope it.

Do you take on web development work in Dhaka and across Bangladesh?

Yes. I'm a web developer based in Dhaka and work with startups and businesses across Bangladesh — in person or remotely — as well as international clients from here. Whether you need a Next.js/React or Laravel developer for a one-off build or ongoing work, the first step is a short call.

Can you integrate AI into my existing product?

Yes — AI integration is core to what I do. I add LLM features (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini), retrieval and semantic search, and automations into products you already run, with guardrails and cost controls. I've shipped this in production, including the backend of an AI marketing and CRM platform.

Do you build custom CRMs and internal tools?

Yes. I did the backend engineering for an AI marketing and CRM platform — multi-tenant, with usage-based billing — and I build custom CRMs and internal tools from Dhaka for clients internationally. When an off-the-shelf CRM doesn't fit how you actually work, a tailored build usually does.

What does a typical timeline look like?

A focused marketing site is usually 2–4 weeks; a full website like the Next Chapter Consultancy build ran about six weeks; larger product and backend work is milestone-based with working previews throughout. You get a plan and a timeline before I start building.

What time zone are you in, and how do we work together?

I'm based in Dhaka, Bangladesh (GMT+6) and work comfortably with teams in the US, Europe, and the Middle East. I keep overlap hours for calls, send regular written updates, and stay reachable on whatever channel your team already uses.

Should I hire a freelancer or an agency?

It depends on scope. An agency adds account managers and markup; working with a hands-on freelancer means you deal directly with the person writing the code, which is usually faster and more cost-effective for small-to-mid projects. For very large, multi-team programmes an agency's bench helps — and I'll tell you honestly when that's the better fit.

Do I need a custom build, or will an off-the-shelf tool (WordPress, Shopify, a SaaS CRM) work?

Often off-the-shelf is the right call, and I'll say so — a simple site on WordPress or a store on Shopify can be perfect. Custom earns its cost when your workflow doesn't fit the template, you need control over data and performance, or an off-the-shelf CRM can't model how you actually sell. I build both, so the advice isn't biased toward more work.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Bank transfer, Wise, and card payments via Stripe for international clients. Larger projects are billed by milestone — a deposit to begin and the balance on delivery.

Do I own the code you write?

Yes, completely. You get clean, documented code in your own repository, plus a handover, so the project is never a black box that only I can maintain.

Do you provide support after launch?

Yes. Every project includes a handover and post-launch support, and I offer ongoing monitoring and maintenance retainers if you'd like me to keep an eye on things once you're live.

Let’s start

Tell me what you’re building

A detailed brief or a rough idea — both are welcome. I’ll read it, and reply with honest next steps and a scoping call if it’s a fit.
