DevOps & Deployment
Pipelines, servers, and monitoring that just keep running
Getting to production and staying there without the 2am surprises: CI/CD pipelines, containers, servers, and monitoring that keep shipping predictable.
I set up CI/CD pipelines, containerise services, provision and harden servers and droplets, and put monitoring and alerts in place so issues surface before your users do. That covers environments and secrets, zero-downtime deploys, backups, autoscaling where it earns its keep, and a clear plan for when something breaks. The goal is simple: make shipping boring and predictable.
I can also take over an existing setup, document it, and harden it, so the knowledge is not stuck in one person's head and the whole team can deploy with confidence. Where cloud bills have crept up, I profile what's actually costing money and cut it without putting reliability at risk.
Starting from
$2,000
one-off setup · or monitoring from $900/mo
The figure above is a starting point, not a fixed tier. Your quote depends on scope and complexity — the number of features, integrations, and how much already exists. After a short scoping call you get one fixed price for the whole project, or, for ongoing work, a monthly retainer. Every fixed-price project is split into four equal milestones. I invoice 25% only after each 25% of the work is finished and you have reviewed it, so nothing is paid up front and you never pay for work you haven't seen.
What’s included
CI/CD pipelines and clean environment setup
Docker containers and reproducible builds
Server, droplet, and cloud provisioning and maintenance
Monitoring, logging, and alerting
Backups, a tested recovery plan, and secrets management
Security hardening and a runbook your team can operate
What you get
- A repeatable, documented deploy process
- Monitoring and alerting in place
- A runbook your team can follow
Ideal for
Teams who want deployments to be boring, predictable, and reliable.
Typical stack
How it works
Scope
A short call to understand goals, users, and constraints, turned into a fixed plan, timeline, and quote.
Design
I shape the data model, architecture, and interface, with previews early so we agree before I build.
Build
Four milestones, each ending with a working preview you review before paying its 25% — clean, tested code and regular updates.
Launch & support
Deployment, monitoring, and handover, with post-launch support or a retainer when you need it.
Example work
Real projects where I did this kind of work — the problem, the build, and where it landed.

DevOps & Deployment: common questions
Can you take over a setup someone else built?
Yes. I map what you have, document it, and harden it, so the knowledge isn't stuck in one person's head and the whole team can deploy with confidence.
What about backups and recovery if something breaks?
You get backups and a tested recovery plan — not a config that's never been restored — plus a runbook your team can actually follow at 2am.
Do you offer ongoing monitoring?
Yes, from $900/mo. I set up monitoring, logging, and alerts so issues surface before your users notice, and keep an eye on things after launch.
